Fowling™

*Pronounced like Bowling, but with a “F”

Fowling is a mixture of Football and Bowling in a Horseshoes style layout. Teams of two stand at opposite ends of the lane and alternately take turns throwing a football at their opponents bowling pins. The first team to knock down all 10 pins, wins.

Whether you’re in your backyard, tailgating at a local sports event or at a neighborhood park, Fowling is good wholesome fun. There’s no better way to spend time with your friends. You might even make some new ones too.

The Fowling Warehouse

The coolest private membership club in Detroit

Fowling happens every day at 17501 Van Dyke St. It’s on the second floor in the old Toy Warehouse across from the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Pull into our secure, lit parking lot through the alley on the south side of the building.

Most days there is Open Fowling available. Mondays & Fridays we have leagues. Alternating Fridays there’s live music on our 400 sq. ft. stage for Rock ‘n’ Fowl. The Warehouse is also available for private parties or corporate functions. Please see the Calendar page for all our upcoming events.

Unlike a traditional Bowling Center, our Fowling Lanes are first come, first served. Your fee at the door ($5 – $10 depending on the night) gets you unlimited fowling until we close for the night. Just like pool tables at a bar, you challenge the team or person who wins the current match by calling “Next” on that particular lane.
